We are seeking to recruit on behalf of our client a ASSET OPERATIONS ENGINEER MONITORING OLEFINS UTILITIES who will based in SAUDI ARABIA on a longterm residential contract Purpose The Asset Operation Engineer is an active Team of member of a High Caliber Operations Experts Professionals that are providing Functional Ownership of different aspects of Asset Operation The role is critical for the Manufacturing Processes helping in driving MFG Excellence The Asset Operation Engineer works with other team members Globally to assure creating opportunities to continuously recognize and achieve high standards in terms of plant performance The Asset Operation Engineer assure operations Discipline compliance and drive Operational Integrity Maturity level to highest standards bringing State of Art models tools in operating Petrochemical Facilities Globally guided by Manufacturing Strategy plans The Asset Operation Engineer delivers knowledge sharing through development and conducting specialized training programs to leverage own experience and skills to enhance the site frontlines Supervisors engineers and Operations personnel Knowledge The Asset Operation Engineer retains operational knowledge through sharing and ensuring learnings are embedded in all relevant systems BP SMS PDPs SES TA etc and supports different assessment types i e AIR ALC TARA Projects PRPs etc The Asset Operation Engineer extend Technical Support to sites globally to assure agility to support chronical cases and burning platforms The Asset Operation Engineer provides expertise for critical RCAs Cold Eye reviews BM etc Above all The Asset Operation Engineer provides an overarching support to the execution of manufacturing strategy objectives related to operations The Asset Operation Engineer provides areas of expertise to achieve Excellence in EHSS Reliable Asset Utilization and Operation Cost Optimization across all Global client Sites through a Leveraging AO expertise in enhancing SHEM and OMS deployment requirements and continuance improvement b Conducting advance Analyse leveraging AO competencies Modelling Simulation Sensitivity analysis etc to deliver the most optimized Solutions Improvements for Sabic Site Globally c Development and deployment of world class practices and functional expertise utilizing internal Networking knowledge management and sharing related experiences d Identify improvement opportunities through Internal networks and assemble Taskforce Team to leverage the Learning and Value Creation to all Sabic Sites Globally e Develop mediumlong term strategies and working with sites globally to support the executions and endorsing the achieved maturities f Participate in Projects and growth to deliver expertise in Asset Operation in virus of Project Stages including the Manufacturing Philosophy consultation and PRP participation g Support T I related projects process sustainability energy and carbon neutrality related to Asset Operation h Support client Programs Initiatives according to demand and expertise i Support deployment monitoring and validation the Digitalization Solutions Experience Qualifications Required Chemical Engineering Degree Excellent knowledge of the RCA methodologies and certified RCA leader Strong Manufacturing Experience Strong analytical skills Strong process engineering skilled More than 15 years experience in petrochemical industry in manufacturing with substantial exposure to operational EHSS requirements and technical activities Working knowledge and technical expertise in manufacturing work processes Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills Adequate knowledge and understating strategic thinking and planning frameworks Proficient knowledge of EHSS standards Extensive understanding of plant operations and maintenance Good knowledge of petrochemical plants and processes Experience in leading crossfunctional projects related to assets operation establishing and maintaining strong relationships with executive level management Leading change and change management skills Proactive and strong customeroriented mindset Excellent English language level 2 Identifies key information to minimize risks Seeks opportunities to contribute Promotes the company identity and develops resulting beliefs and values Good presentation skills Ability to work with and lead diverse multicultural groups of employees across regions Team player and being able to motivate and drive crosscultural teams towards achievement of expert group objectives Result and presentation skills Strong technical background 13 Passion for continuous improvement and strategy development Duties Responsibilities Expertise deployment for solutions improvements related to plants operation in SABIC assets globally Advising and supporting plants in relation to the deployment use and maintenance of production means and techniques Guaranteeing professional standards in relation to technological decisions by providing state of art knowledge during the entire lifecycle of the facilities from conceptual design to maintenance operation and endoflife Troubleshoot and solve acute problem situations with high business impact Give advice and guidance regarding chronic technical problems resolution journey Provide support to implement improvements in installations methods and operating procedures Give operational advice regarding the deployment of T I projects and external services to ensure the success of the projects or services Translate corporate requirements and legislation regulations into technical guidelines to achieve the corporate objectives Support technical consultative committees and working groups e g RCA Draw up policy proposals and advice reports of company s facilities globally Giving advice whether requested or not regarding technical and or tactical policy issues Standardize resources techniques and procedures in a way that magnify the value creation Organize taskforce teams for the implementation of standards and best practices As functionally responsible contact contribute to monitoring the application of relevant technology resources techniques and procedures in production installations with the object of optimizing functionality integrity and availability Issue and review all Best Practices Technical Alerts and High Learning Values related to operation of process Monitor operation and process PerKs and ensure the sites are setting proper resolution plans to mitigate them Support sites in new facilities commission and T I project deployment Work with a globally distributed team of operation experts and performance analysts and Monitoring to ensure common practices resources utilization networking and knowledge sharing within different performance improvement teams Improving high potential talents support in succession planning and cooperation with other team members through a proper Networking Knowledge management platform The assets operation engineer participates as a member and responsible for Expert group related to a specific area of discipline Best Practices and Lesson Learned development committees Development of corporate knowledge understanding in a specific field globally Initiate improvements of standards specifications based on expert group knowledge feedback Development delivery of functional training Proposing expert resources between affiliates in order to maximize value creation within company and set the business priorities from assets operation prospective
