Direct message the job poster from Al Safi Danone Role Purpose: The Maintenance Excellence Leader is responsible for implementing and upholding the highest standards in maintenance strategies, budget management, technical store operations, preventive maintenance routines, building maintenance, and productivity improvement initiatives. The role covers: Management Reporting Budgeting and Forecasting Safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and issuance of goods Optimization of stock arrangement and special handling for specific inventory Development and execution of comprehensive maintenance strategies (preventive, corrective, improvement-focused, internal or outsourced) Ensuring exceptional standards in building maintenance across the facility Driving productivity goals while maintaining robust administrative and storage systems Adherence to workplace safety and security protocols Key Accountabilities: Daily Operation Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment. Work with materials planning (MRP), procurement, and operations to assimilate demand and optimize inventory levels. Work closely with the SSD team to coordinate forecasts and build schedules. Monitor inventory levels at all bill of material (BOM) levels. Work to optimize inventory levels to meet ASD inventory policy and service level goals. Oversee stock control and processing orders. Ensure quality, delivery, and budget objectives are met. Carry out responsibilities for the use of automated and computerized systems. Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Prepare budget figures for the MTC department. Support customers (MTC) to find alternative parts in case of zero stock. Oversee the first in first out (FIFO) procedure for all items especially with chemicals. Report wrong delivery items to SSD and supplier. Monitor continuous improvement to optimize storage space, label, and manage duplicated items. Create new internal code (SX) for all required material of old and new technologies. Follow change management system for all new chemicals. Monitor the archiving system and help the owner arrange it. Oversee the planned ordering of chemicals for maintenance, CIP, and printing machines. Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the Preventive Maintenance section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures. Prepare reports of Preventive Maintenance in a timely and accurate manner to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards. Generate notifications of all work order requests. Coordinate with MUD contractors and ASD employees. Maintain the broken walls, painting, doors, tiles, etc. of all factory perimeters. Close all safety findings regarding electrical hazards related to the building. Closure of all work orders related to maintenance of all Air conditioning units. Maintain the plant lighting through work orders. Maintain all plumbing issues including toilets. Office and canteen maintenance activities. Conduct a GAMBA tour to validate the closure of all building maintenance work orders. Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork in assisting and ensuring set productivity targets are met. Train staff and monitor their performance and progress. Communicate with other departments, staff groups, and customers as needed. Safety, Quality & Environment Reporting near-miss, and safety risks on time through safety tags. Ensure LOTO application during troubleshooting and plant activities for routine and non-routine tasks. Respect, maintain, and follow GMP, personal hygiene, housekeeping, equipment cleaning, floor cleaning, zoning, and 5S are respected and maintained daily. Adhere to all Food Safety system standards Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment Take part in an operational excellence program with implemented ideas to achieve world-class manufacturing through productivity, people engagement, working environment, growth, and quality ideas. Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled manner Follow standard operational procedures to ensure that all assigned tasks are carried out safely and with good quality as per specified standards mentioned in SOP. Reporting Ensure that all departmental reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet the company and department requirements, standards, policies, and procedures Job Requirements Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree 6 - 10 years of relevant experience in store operations, maintenance routines, building maintenance, and productivity initiatives with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
